About us
La Pietraia farm is run by two families - Staccioli and Ribechini. First and foremost for knowledge and know-how are grandparents Vittorio Staccioli and Navarina Senesi, once tenant farmers with their families at the Fattoria di Libbiano and Monterufoli, then farmers in their own right with a passion for livestock. Daughter Franca and her husband Claudio Ribechini have always lived on the farm and it is theirs the idea to renovate the old Landuccia farmhouse giving it a new lease of life as an agriturismo and so starting a new adventure. Jodi and Jonatan, the nephews, have decided to dedicate their lives to their grandparents’ farm and to the countryside bringing up-to-date knowledge and a fresh approach.
This is our family, country people whose ancestors came from Libbiano, today enlarged with new members, with new experience, with worldly knowledge. What you find in these pages is what we really are and what we have to offer: the spirit of an authentic warm welcome.
