The stars at La Landuccia
The characteristic morphology of the territory, a small valley protected by a circle of hills, and the distance from large towns make La Landuccia an ideal place to lift your eyes to the sky in the quiet summer evenings in the absence of light pollution. Lying on the grass near the stream that crosses the plains the blue cupola is as you’ve never seen it before, with its vault of stars that rest on the hills as if they were the walls and the never so visible effect of the constellations slowly passing by. The illusion of immobility is perhaps the same as that of those who found themselves crossing the countryside in the dark on a night many years ago.
The night stars at La Landuccia are one of the unspoilt beauties of the countryside.
